Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in adult, child and family therapy for adults. Since 2007 my areas of expertise have grown to include:

grief and loss – including pets

anxiety depression

Life changes and caretaker concerns

self-esteem

trauma managing

emotions increasing calming skills

substance abuse, alcohol abuse and co-occurring disorders

I maintain a private practice in Surry, Maine Telehealth Distance counseling services throughout the State of Maine.

I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC).

While studying, I worked full time as a Director at the Emmaus Homeless Shelter working with homeless men, women and families and working for homeless prevention through a number of community programs. My internships included working at Acadia Hospital’s Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient program for individuals in recovery; Wabanaki Mental Health Associates, NPC for tribal-enrolled Native Americans and Bayview Center for Mental Health, a private practice. Upon graduating, I worked with individuals and family’s doing Home and Community Based treatment, (HCT), provided individual therapy for adults and children and provided group therapy.
